After being selected as the web-development partner for Gravitate HR our challenge was to take their very successful existing website and content and re-purpose this to a contemporary responsive website with a modern open-source CMS whilst retaining the company’s impressive search engine rankings. We were also asked to update the brand and provision design assets that would allow gravitate to expand their marketing activity over both online and traditional media.
Digijuice determined gravitate’s brand objectives by collecting their detailed preferences using our own online brand definition application. From this we determined mutually agreed brand guidelines and presented a number of brand treatments. This is really cool stuff btw coded by our technical director Peter Jaroch. Given the years of exceptional content that Gravitate HR have blogged and promoted it was essential that we retained this within the new website. As their previous CMS was a legacy proprietary system and was no longer supported we opted to develop a content spider application to export content from their existing front-end site. This one was Dave Ross’ thing and was nearly as cool as Peter’s brand definition app.
